Baptized believers are to commit themselves to one another in church membership. After attending Saint Albans Gospel Assembly a few times, you’ll probably want to join the First Steps Baptism class. This class is offered periodically and offers an introduction to the beliefs and vision that we hold as a church.

Members of SAGA take part in the government of the church through voting on church budgets, electing church officers and nominating committee members. Membership is a requisite to serving the church as a minister, evangelist, deacon, or officer.

Each person applying to become a member of Saint Albans Gospel Assembly should:

• Profess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
• Complete a 7-week New Members Class
• Have been, or be baptized
• Give a personal testimony during their New Members Class

New Members classes run for seven weeks and are offered repeatedly. Classes are offered on Sunday mornings before the 11:00am service. Pre-registration is required.
