Pastor Shawn has been a faithful member of St. Albans Gospel Assembly for twenty years and serves under his Senior Pastors, Apostles Everett & Marjorie Newsome.  Under their leadership, he was ordained as a minister in 2007 and was appointed as the Director of the Youth Ministry.  In 2014, he and his wife Angie were ordained as Associate Pastors over the Family Connect Ministry which focuses on “Faith, Family, and Finances”.  Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, they encourage and nurture spiritual growth amongst families, while providing spiritual and leadership guidance to several auxiliaries within the ministry.  He holds a diploma in Marriage and Family coaching and is a certified family life coach through the Board of Christian Life Coaching (BCLC).  He is also a certified marriage coach facilitator through Family Dynamics Institute (FDI).  Pastor Shawn is currently enrolled at Oral Roberts University (ORU) and he is pursuing his degree in Theological Studies.

Pastor Shawn resides in Laurelton Queens with his beautiful wife Angie of twenty years and has three children (Shawn Jr., Vaughn, and Alana).  He attended the Long Island University School of Business and is currently employed at Capital One bank as a Senior Vice President in Business Banking.  Through his career, the Lord has allowed him to cultivate his leadership abilities which have helped him to effectively execute his duties within the ministry.  He teaches adult Sunday school classes and helps to disciple the next generation of leaders within the ministry.
