Erwin S. Newsome

Pastor Erwin was born in New York City N.Y.  He grew up in a household with both his parents, who were ministers. A life of faith, love of Christ and service were taught to him by his parents as they lived their lives.  His mother and father were a tremendous influence in his life.  While receiving a public school education, including York College, Pastor Erwin served in St. Albans Gospel Assembly in many capacities; Sunday school superintendent and teacher, deacon, food pantry worker, choir director and now as an associate pastor, under his brother Apostle Everett Newsome, Jr.  This service to the ministry has been going on for over 40 years.  He’s been married to Pastor Barbara for over 33 years and  together they have one son William.
