Gerald C. Yarborough

Minister Gerald C. Yarborough was born and raised in Jamaica, New York where he led a life of running the streets in teenage rebellion. After the unexpected passing of his mother in December of 1996, he honored her dying wish and gave his live to Christ in June of 1997 at Zion Tabernacle in Hollis, New York. In 1999 he joined the ministry of Apostle’s Everett and Marjorie Newsome at St. Alban’s Gospel Assembly were he was ordained as a minister. The St. John’s University alum was recently promoted to artistic director of product development at Nickelodeon creative resources and also serves as the Vice President of God Given Inc. a ground breaking and innovative Christian urban clothing line and design firm. In 2009 he and his wife Akeda founded S.A.V.E.D. Ministries, a non-profit organization with a vision to encourage our youth to take an active role in evangelism. Through his dynamic preaching and passion for seeing souls saved God has used this unique ministry to bring many to Christ.
